The Artisan Partnership
Jenny Essen
Jenny moved to Mexico after completing a PhD about artists in Mexico City. There, she swapped reading about the country with real experiences, including meeting artisans who continue to create stunning traditional pieces. Jenny co-founded The Artisan Partnership and handles all things marketing. When she’s not working with artisans, she runs a proofreading and editing business that helps non-native speakers with their English.
Mark Lawrence
Mark has travelled around Latin America extensively and has met a diverse range of artisans. Witnessing the economic struggles of selling craft pieces in this region, he co-founded The Artisan Partnership to increase visibility and income for skilled craftspeople. Mark is responsible for the web-based infrastructure that supports our innovative global marketplace, and he can often be found creating websites for other companies.
